On-the-Go Snack Ideas for Toddlers

snack ideas for toddlers

Anyone else’s toddlers total snack machines? Hadleigh will literally snack all day long and doesn’t really eat a full meal until dinner. So needless to say, we are always searching for more healthy and filling snack ideas for toddlers.

We also do a lot of activities as a family, so finding snacks that we can all enjoy while we are on the go is very important to us. I am currently 7 months pregnant too, which means I am often snacking throughout the day alongside my toddler. Eating high protein foods ensures that we stay full longer.

I am sure all of you have heard of Kodiak Cakes. They make the BEST pancake mix. We eat a ton of pancakes, especially since it is Hadleigh’s number one requested breakfast. Kodiak is known for their high-protein, wholesome ingredients. I was so thrilled when I started seeing other Kodiak products in the grocery store.

I wanted to share all of the new, healthy and protein-packed Kodiak Cake snack ideas for toddlers on the go.  Even though I say toddlers, these snacks are so delicious and convenient that the entire family will enjoy them!

Thank you Kodiak Cakes for sponsoring this post.

Kodiak Crunchy Granola Bars

You can’t go wrong with a good granola bar as a snack. What’s different about these crunchy Kodiak Cake granola bars is they’re made with 100% whole grain rolled oats. They come in four awesome flavors: oats and honey, chocolate chip, peanut butter and maple brown sugar. Hadleigh is obsessed with the peanut butter flavor (as am I). Each bar is packed with 10 grams of protein!

Kodiak Bear Bites

Probably Hadleigh’s number one requested snack are these Kodiak Cake graham crackers, aka “Bear Bites”. They have 5 grams of protein per serving.  They come in a big box or individualized packages to make bringing a snack on the go easier. The flavors are honey, cinnamon or chocolate. My pregnancy cravings are alllllll about the chocolate!

P.S. you can even make mini smores using the Bear Bites as the graham cracker layer. SO GOOD.

Kodiak Cups

Whether you need a quick snack or breakfast idea for you or your toddler, these Kodiak cups have every base covered. Just add water and heat it up in the microwave! There are SO many different options and flavors. From strawberry chocolate chip flapjack cups to apple cinnamon muffin cups. This snack idea is definitely going to be your toddler’s favorite (and probably yours too). The Kodiak cups have anywhere from 10-12 grams of protein.

P.S. whenever I am pregnant and/or breastfeeding, oatmeal is my go-to breakfast. They also make very convenient oatmeal cups!

Kodiak No- Bake Oatmeal Balls

Another quick snack idea for toddlers that doesn’t require cooking. These protein balls took me about 10 minutes to put together. All you need is peanut butter, honey and some water. Mix all of the ingredients and you have about 10-15 balls to snack on for the next few days!

P.S I found it easier to combine the ingredients together with my Kitchin-aid mixer instead of mixing by hand!
